Omega General Help / helppp with misfire lol
« on: 27 February 2009, 19:44:19 »
hi agen!!
when i bought this car a few weeks ago the rocker covers wer shot so i replaced them with genuine parts, took the old leads off my old miggy and threw some plugs in it all is ok with it until i get heavy footed then a misfire occurs, works perfect as long as i feather the throttle which i dont like doing haha just wondering wether the oil i cleared out of the plug wells could have caused the coil pack to go as it was driven for quite a while by the looks of it by the previous owner with the oil leak who also used pattern part gaskets boooo! lol
thanx all!!

Omega General Help / auto box problem!!
« on: 22 October 2008, 18:35:38 »
when started from cold "automatic gearbox check light comes on and goes off after a bit of driving and turning the ignition off but when i turn the lights on on the car, the gear indicator LED goes off and P,R,N,D,3,2,1 light up. just wondered if this was normal as i cant see wot gear it is in as its dark when i put the lights on. also the starting aid lights up as normal but when i press it nothing happens.
i done the coil pack on it a few weeks ago and whilst putting back together at the back of the engine a wire what looks like it comes from the top of the gearbox is left unplugged, i did not disconnect this wire and cannot find where it is meant to go, just wondering wether it is meant to be like that or needs to go somewhere. its a black 3 pin rectangular plug.
any help would be much appreciated.
ohh btw the car is a 1999 T omega 2.5 V6 auto CDX

General Discussion Area / New Website!!!
« on: 23 October 2008, 14:34:12 »
Not really a new website as i have been on it for quite a while but you can swap anything you can imagine for anything you want, all you do is make the advert and put a value on it, put at the bottom what you want to swap it for and wait for offers!!! or you can look through and propose a swap!! i have swapped a car on there before and a few other things.
Hope you all enjoy, go and take a look!!!

Ps if anybody needs any help with the website dont hesitate to ask me !! :D
