Omega General Help / Fast idleing prob SORTED
« on: 08 September 2009, 22:14:50 »
After cleaning the throttle housing and breathers the car was idleing too fast.It was sorted by doing the pedal trick for code reading. Not sure why but must of reset the throttle position sensor. One to bear in mind if you have a 2.6 or 3.2 MIGGY and want to clean the throttle housing.P.S It now goes like s--t off a chrome shovel (very responsive)

Omega General Help / Cutting out
« on: 03 September 2009, 00:39:56 »
Hello,my MV6 (2001 2.6)has just developed a fault and I was wondering if anone has come across it.When the car has been run for a while then parked for about an hour, when starting I need to press the accelerator for it to run or it will just cut out,but when started will run ok.Also when idleing in traffic will sometimes cut out.Had it connected to computer but no codes are recorded.Any help would be appreciated.
