A big hello to you all!!
Just got myself in a 3.0 Elite estate a couple of weeks ago. Needed some work on it, but after spending a small fortune it is now running brilliantly and I'm dead chuffed with it. Not as cheap as I first hoped but its a damn sight better than the Renault Scenic I was forced to drive coz my Toyota Soarer got written off and I needed a car quick. That Scenic was a horrid 6 months of driving, and I'm never going French again. Build quality?!?!? Non existent term I think in French vocab.
The Soarer was wonderful, but this Omega is on par as far as comfort, ease of driving, and enjoyment of driving goes. Hell of a lot more space too, and the fuel costs don't hurt as much coz there's no turbos and less playful temptation. That's not to say it doesn't shift, but in a much more civilised manner. Out come the pipe and slippers I think, lol. I'll just grow old gracefully with the old girl
Loving every minute though!! Just gotta sit and plan out changes and mods now though, needs some flair 8-)
