will have a go at that today. when we bled the clutch up there was no air coming through just fluid. i did notice that when you put your foot on the clutch and if you look at the fluid it looks like it is being pumped back into the reservior and not going to the slave cylinder. would the seals in the clutch master cylinder cause this to happen if its buggered.

Omega General Help / 2.0 tdi clutch problem
« on: 02 December 2008, 11:22:55 »
my 2.0 tdi estate has got a problem with the clutch. i can't get any gears. i checked the mastyer cylinder and bled the slave cylinder then i was able to get gears and drove the car for a bout 10 miles. got up this morning and can't get any gears again.
would the mater cylinder not be working properly or the slave cylinder.
the clutch doe's not slip when you can drive it but it is a little noisy until you put your foot on the clutch then it go's quiet.
not sure wether to replace the clutch master cylinder first and try that and if no different change the slave and fit new clutch. money is a bit tight at the moment so want to try the cheapest options first beofre buying the clutch kit.
any help will be much appreciatted.
