Omega General Help / Getting codes p0340,p1700 and p1781
« on: 27 December 2011, 07:04:35 »
Hello..every one
I'm facing a problem with my omega 2.2 /2002 which started a couple of weeks ago .
first the EML light(car with spanner) went on and transmission went in to limp mode ...hard to change gears.
when scanned with OBD-II scanner I got p0340,p1700 and p1781 codes. I checked the wires, cables and haness connections but seems ok,so I replaced the CAM sensor with brand new VX genuine one ,cleared both engine and transmission codes and i'm still getting the same error codes and EML light still on and engine hesitate when reaching 4500 rev. appreciate your help ..Thank you

Hello folks
The same symptoms noticed in mine too .. the pipe going into matrix was very hot while the other coming out was cold ..this means that the HBV is working good..so i flushed the matrix with both air and water and then reconnect the pipes. The heater is working fine now.

Hello guys
to avoid such a case make sure to press the eco botton on climate control panel instead of auto botton this will stop a/c compressor and you'll get hot air on both sides
