managed to get the unit out, sure enough it had corroded and burst out on one side!

does anyone know where the water is coming from that would cause this? could do with sealing the hole!

part number 0221503017 if anyone has one kicking about

Forgot to mention that the engine management light stayed off througout. subsequent starting also ran on 3

Hi all
Started her up from cold earlier, drove around half a mile and suddenly lost ignition on what seems like 3 out of 6 pistons (sounds like a scooby!) engine sounded fine, no bang etc just cut power to 3 cylinders!
Has anyone experienced anything similar? i can't find anything on the web
