Starting with tensioner top left, over PAS top right, down to a/c bottom right, around crank bottom middle, around water pump centre, round alternator bottom left back up to tensioner top left.

Get a large wrench on tensioner, attempt to 'tighten' clockwise - this will give the slack...
ok m8 thanks, hand tight how far do you go?

To change, bolts around side - 2 E14 IIRC. If only pulley failed, may be easier to leave tensioner on and just change pulley (15mm).

What further info do you need?
Clarfy pulley m8? would the pulley be the black plastic wheel?
Held on the tensioner with 15mm bolt, yes...
Right i have the whole thing from vaux im not sure if the tensioner is screwed but the black wheel is gone lol
So should i go the whole way now i bought the part?
I would change the lot if thats what you have.  Torx bolts up the side - you can work out where from the new part :)
Is there any special way to get that belt on m8 cos thats the bit that daunts me

i cant turn the pulley by hand does that help?
Sounds like bearing seized. New pulley with bearing is £15 ish IIRC.  Trouble is, it may have damaged tensioner spindle, in which case that needs changing (£45 iirc).  New belt I would imagine is £25 ish I would guess.

Are you ok with spanners?  Are you close to me, as I would willingly assist?
Thats what i have been told m8 when i got towed home tonight :-[ bearing siezed
sadly im not near to you im in Bristol but the offer is very much appreciated :)
Trouble is i use her for work god i see vauxhall ripping me off :-[
No good with spanners m8 im a roofer ;D
