Hi Again,
http://www.tawpark4x4.com/instructions/bmw_hotfix.htm have mailed me back to say i can indeed use the battery negative as earth,just that Blue/Grey wire to confirm,Son now thinks it is B/G but i will get a third party to confirm before I commit.

i,d like to hear from a member that has actually fitted one, but regards my introduction to the problem of difficult starting when hot  , a- it was an extremely hot day , b- i,d had no problems before that day.

Have you installed yet.
Got one of these (hot start fixes) some time ago,got the fitting instructions yesterday from http://www.tawpark4x4.com/instructions/bmw_hotfix.htm
These instructions are for range rover installation,the main difference is that my omega does not have the bundle of black earth wires.found the red/white wire ok,the grey/blue wire,looks grey/blue to me wife thinks its blue,sons not sure.
Mailed tawpark and asked if i can use the battery negative terminal as earth.
