Omega General Help / coolant level warning
« on: 11 August 2012, 20:15:13 »
driving home this afternoon coolant level came up on mfd , i stopped the car and checked but level was ok and temperature was ok . the car is a 2003 omega elite 2.2dti with 217,000 miles on it , i bought it 5 years ago with 34,000 and it has never missed a beat , could it be a faulty sensor or the start of trouble to come, regards mike

the climate control / aircon on my omega recently needed regassing but after only a couple of weeks it stopped blowing cold again , i took it back to my garage and after putting tracer dye through the system i was told there was no leaks in system , they did say it might be a part at the bottom of the heater matrix which would cost me nearly £ 300.00 to take dash out and a further £ 800.00 for the part which i can't remember what is was called , any ideas or am i stuck with a bill for £1100.00 on a car with 215000 miles on it , regards mike

Omega General Help / Re: 2.2dti clutch
« on: 15 October 2010, 15:32:05 »
UPDATE- clutch pedal is now staying down and only comes back up when i pull it back with my foot , also contacted local vauxhall dealer ( bristol st motors ) about price for a dmf ( flywheel ) and they quoted over £ 1000.00 plus clutch at £ 200.00 all plus vat and fitting , so if you know of a flywheel as i believe they are all made by luk  for £150.00 please let me know , regards mike

no noises at all , i bought the car 3 years ago with 34000 miles on from vauxhall main dealer , it now has 160,000 and has never missed a beat , the only reason i am asking is that the clutch pedal seems to feel different than it normaly does , ie not as springy on the return , regards mike
