Omega General Help / Remote key fob dead
« on: 19 December 2009, 15:49:28 »
Hi all;
One of my remote fobs has stopped working, checked battery and visually checked over but can't see anything wrong. Is there a way of programming a key yourself if you buy one on ebay or such (the same as my golf) or am I off to line those robbing gits at the main dealers' pockets?
Thanks in advance

I have had my Omega now for 2 months, but the rattle from the door locks is driving me mad! >:( I absolutely love the car but cannot bear the noise every time i go over the slightest bump they rattle. I can't seem to find any posts about this, is it a common problem, and if so, what is the fix.
I have a '02 2.2 sport estate
Thanks in advance for any help :y

Clean all the breathers thoroughly, and throttle body as well.  On that sort of journey, I would expect high twenties/30mpg from my 3.0l, depending how much town driving is involved...

Sorry, complete novice here, can't see any guides on the forum, what are the breathers, and throttle body sounds a major job?

I had a similar problem with mr wife's vectra with the reverse lights not working, and only 1 brake light working, that turned out to be the actual light fitting at fault
