Omega Electrical and Audio Help / CDR500 and AUX
« on: 18 February 2011, 07:33:43 »
Hi,
I have long sought a way to connect an MP3 or other source of radio CDR500. Transmitter did not work for me, because it has low transmission quality and other disadvantages.
Yesterday, however, I found something I might like.

Nexxia
Instructions for installation, while the Zafira, but it's not important  Manual

Does anybody have any experience or even knowledge of the equipment?

they both seem ok, there is no play and they look fine.
Thanks to all of you for your time.
I will need to take off the crankshaft sensor to get a replacement, as I said I have aircon so how difficult is it to get at ? -any special tricks?
Hi Mick,
this sensor is bad? Or only dianostic says if error in sensor?
Because 1) checkit diagnostic and 2) tested this separate sensor

same as here http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1234899864/8#8

And, small question. How are old oil? If very old, includes much metallic dirtiness and impedance hereof sensor is changed.
Correct values  500-800Ohm.
Often helps dismount sensor, clearense and mount back.
I would have done that before change crankshaft sensor.

The mere fact exchanges sensosr is involvement, becaus off european cars cabel from off sensors is under oil tube. I don´t know as i version with RH steering.

If changed sensor, must ease away oil tube because of extraction cabel of sensor. Dirty work.

I hope if undesrtand me :-) Bay

Please can anyone advise we are running out of ideas the engine just cuts out while driving. I did the paperclip test and it didnt show anything. I have read various ideas on here and have cleaned out everything advised and fitted a new icv valve. It is still cutting out.  Changed spark plugs and ht leads after seeing the leads were covered in oil from leaking gasket which we have also changed along with the rocker cover. Did the paperclip test again and code 17, 21, 31 & 57 came up.  We have now bought a new crankshaft sensor but still cutting out.  How many things do we have to keep changing and if we drive it like this will it do any harm? Please help running out of money fast!
mine has the same problem i have a v6 3.0l i have chang my chank sensor and is still doing it have bin told it may be the air mass sersor try that it may help

Hi,
First time must tested cramshaft conector.
Position 1-2 = 500-800 Ohm.
If resistance  less or larger it is wrong.
Me helped if this sensor dismonted, because it is dirty, cleaning and next mount back.

Hello,
a long time I was here. We happen to like traveling with a caravan, so we bought one.
I can not wait to travel experiences. Over time, you might also look at the islands, which attract me. (On this, but I have more to learn English  :P )
