Unburnt fuel, only thing I could think of with these symptoms is lack of compression

I tried those along with the leads and plugs, all were nice and clean apart from cylinder 6 which was black.

Omega General Help / 3.0 V6 Misfire and Tapping
« on: 29 December 2015, 10:49:28 »
I've got a 3.0 V6 that has had a misfire since I bought it, thought it would be a nice easy fix, started by changing the coil pack and leads which didn't help, have checked for air leaks/vac leaks and tried a crank sensor just on the off chance, my diag brought up a fault code relating to the maf sensor which I swapped with no joy. The misfire is without doubt on cylinder 6 and the engine sounds like it's tapping as well... Any ideas?

Cheers Chris

My omega has had a couple of wierd problems since ive owned it, if I open any of the doors other than the drivers my interior light doesn't work although the puddle lights do, I've tested the door switches but they all seem to be working fine, also the light doesn't come on with the headlight switch, as well as that total closure doesn't seem to work either even if I reset the windows, I've had op com on and it brought up a fault code on the alam ecu saying the system has low voltage?

Anybody have any ideas?
