Hi all, will a 300 amp jump starter be enough to start a miggy?
I saw this at maplin  http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=353865
and thought it would be great for camping and so on.

« on: 28 March 2010, 02:47:27 »
unfortunately somebody pinched my arial last night.Quite annoying , but on the upside my phone and radio seem to work perfectly.
Do i really need to replace it?will i suffer reduced functionality?...any ideas how much a new one will set me back?

Enfield. The phone popped up and worked first time after the sim went in.(the wee signal strength thingy on the lower right appeared emmediately) and i got notification of five new messages from 02.I didnt realise that you could read texts from it too!cool..
Does the sim card go completely into the slot?
so that it is behind the pop out panel?
Yeah, but typing a text is a right pain ;D
Im determined to do it!!! just because i can!
Although it took me 25 mins to delete 5 messages and acces my voice mail

I did this yesterday with an O2 sim card.It worked on the third try and i had to use force to get the card fully in the slot.
The first time the card didnt go in deep enough to get beyond the pop out panel..but after a bit (a lot) of wiggling the card slipped right in.Then restarted the thing and bingo. (contacts up the way on the card.)
It is so peachy when working already i cant live without it.)also the sim was free with a tenner credit from o2.

« on: 30 October 2009, 00:15:01 »
i have a ccrt700 with no code, and also no cd changer .Would it be very expensive to recover the code? or should i try and buy a second hand one? Or would i be wiser to get a cheap thing from halfords and lose some functionality?( I have a minifacelift elite.)

It took me a whole day to change my expansion tank, and I still tell the story to any who would listen.
So there is no danger,  :) of attempting any b*** bolts.
Although I do have little hands...
Thanks all
 Shell.
