Send your reg number to jimbob via pm and ask nicely  ;D

He can tell you what it left the factory with but tbh, if it started off as a elite I doub't it will have come with one  :-\

Id say it would be a pretty safe bet to say it didnt leave factory with one but its suposed to of had one fitted by a previous owner

What model Omega do you have?

Ive a 99 3.0 elite. They guy i bought it of said the was an lsd fitted. It does leave 11s on the road and it does do circles. Just will spin one wheels sometimes. Was going to change oil in it and see what happens but would like to know if its and lsd before i buy the oil

Auto or manual?

Its not a blue Elite estate is it ::)

It started its life as an auto now a manual. Its a saloon

Sehen what happened with cc in winter? A bit uncontrolable?

Do both ends of the driveshaft have splined shafts? Are the hard to take out with diff still in place? Anything else have to come of? Hub or anything?

thanks for the quick replies  :)

i know its hard to tell buy driving spiritedly cause when id my old omega i could of sworn there was an lsd in it but when the diff decided it had enough i found out it wasnt when i removed it.

is there enough room to remove the cover plate in the car without having to drop the diff or remove shafts?

looking to get a definite answer to this. i dont have a sticker on my diff (well cant find one) so i jacked up the rear end and spun the prop and both wheels spun in same direction. then i spun one wheel and the other spun the same way.

now going by when i had a sierra that was how to identify an lsd, going buy this method it means ive a lsd in my car.

would i be right saying it is an lsd?

Checked the wires for knock sensors and nothing trapped or no damage to them.
Took it for a good run tonight and doesnt seem to affect driving at all pulls right through revs with no missfire or flat spots

gt86 looks nice but dont forget the ae86 underpowered but with the lsd and low running costs its still a hit espically in northern ireland where they go for crazy money
