Update guys
Fitted the stereo and it all went well. wow they are in tight when removing the original, once the keys were locked in took a mixture of pulling and wobbling side to side to get it to slowly start moving. Then removing the cage was just as much fun. the plugs at the back are all fitted to the cage so that made it a little harder but with a little screw driver unclipped them from the cage and got everything out.
Next fitted the new cage and realised I needed a Aerial adapter(Halfords is 2 mins away so £5 later was back.) used the PC99 wiring connector and a PC99-Ken steering wheel adapter cable and all plugged in fine and worked well.
Then once I clipped it into the cage I remembered I had to swap the red and yellow power connectors round so got it out again and just swapped the bullets on the loom.
All working well and now I can plug in the Ipod or my prefered way just play the music off a pendrive.
