How do you know it's the immobilizer stopping the car from starting?
cos the immobiliser light dont go out like it normally does

The e.m.l. won't go out if the cars not running.
Is it flashing?

Entwood had this issue, it turned out to be the immobiliser chip had come loose inside the key. he superglued it back in place. Bingo! HTH :y
that was one od the first things i check was if the fob was working from every indication it is

Do you have the usual dash ignition lights coming up & if so is engine turning over but not starting?

Or is everything dead as in no electrics & nothing at all works ?

i can do everything other than central locking and the actual starting the car
i get the ignition lights as normal as with everything else is working
like i said the fob seems to be working
