Hi troops could do with a little direction here with my electrics  :-/(omega elite 2000)

so here we go first illl list the probs then ill list what i have done so far :-? as i am wondering if there is a common earth or wire to all of the below my tester is duff so bear with me  ::)

my n/s electric window will not work from the passanger switch
my n/s puddle light will not illuminate
my near side passenger vanity mirror will not illuminate
my n/s elctric chair has a dance now and then and the sunroof likes to join in the merryment too :D

now then!!! what i have done so far is clean all connections on the seat and the sunroof with eleckie cleaner sand paper etc this has so far anyway proven to rectify the dancing issue  :y

on to the current issues :(
stripped door cleaned all connections in door checked wiring loom for obvious breaks
 (no change)
replaced puddle light with working spare (no change)
swapped electric window switch with friends that is working
and my existing switch works fine in his car so (no change)
replaced bulbs in visor (no change)

both the electric window and mirror work fine from drivers side switch therfore regulator and motor in passenger door fine oh and disconnected and cleaned door connector and the liitle push switch however i am guessing that is fine as
it works the interior light ok.

I know wiring can be a nightmare however if one of you has suffered from similar problems any tip would be greatly appreciated. :-[
My friends tell me my car is haunted  :D ;D however as i am out of holy water and unlike christine it dont fix its self  :D ill stick to the wd40 water :o

Thanks guys
Ron ;)

Omega General Help / Re: Head gasket or not???
« on: 11 August 2009, 00:28:41 »
I had a similar problem with my 2.5 cdx re the white smoke
had the egr valve tested by vx as they said this was culprit
however turned out ok ?? anyway long to short put plate where egr valve was replaced plugs (they where oily) RESULT no more white smoke  that was last year and about 11000 ago never looked back.

Re the plate my friend is with vauxhall this was his recomendation the reason being, no need for remap
as when vauxhall do the remap they (allegedly)charge you for a new egr valve which has been by passed by the remap anyway  :(  haha. i also put a plate on my wifes astra both cars ok for emmisions at mot and run a lot better. :D
I mention all this so i dont get slagged for doing the plate and not the remap  ;D :y

General Car Chat / Re: Blasted speed ramps!
« on: 02 August 2009, 13:42:29 »
If it goes and stops in a straight line then what the hey ;D
however it could be the camber knocked out as appose to tracking that may explain the squeeling around corners
that is presuming you hit the ramp dead on other than that you may want to check the bolts on the top of the struts
anyway just some ideas hey and maybe you dislodged a radiator blockage hence the cooool running 8-) maybe nows the time for a flush ;)
Take care
Ron
