Hi, anyone knows if its possible to enable tc on a car without this?
Like fitting the button and using the tech for reprogramming the abs ecu.

You honestly won't need TC on your car .... even if it was possible to fit!  ;)  ;)  ;)  ;)
It's a PITA anyway  :y  :y

could be handy in the snow and ice tho.  :y :y

could somebody tell me whats involved with fitting the stereo with built in phone (cant remeber model) into my 2000 elite. is it a straight swap or is there a lot of messing around. would like to fit it as dont like bluetooth handsfree kits.
TIA kris
CCRT2008 is the model.  Looking at one on the shelf here ;D

Need to change the display for the CCRT display, fit the mic (may already be there).  Without looking a wiring diags, couldn't say how much wiring is involved
.

...... any tips or advice will come in useful.

15 mm socket/spanner, anti clockwise.  ;)  ;)  ::)

mines held on with 2 of them silly reverse torx bolts.  :-/ :-/

I was talking about the actual roller so you can remove the 'fan belt', the tensioner itself uses Torx head bolts:y
The seconday air pipe passes through the aux belt, so that has to be undone to get the belt off.  :y

oh yeah. sorry :-[ :-[  ;D

Omega General Help / Re: Odd noise, binding brake or something else ?
« on: 09 September 2009, 18:51:06 »

When the car is moving I get a kind of shush-shush-shush noise but it 'feels' like there is a grinding element in the noise too. Hope this is making sense. I can feel slight vibration through the floorpan when driving. Its very quiet but always there. Worse when cold.

Doesnt seem to change when going around corners or braking.

I'm thinking possibly a wheel bearing is on the way out , or maybe a binding brake pad. No obvious scoring or discolouration of the brake disks.

Am I looking at the right things or is there something else I should check ? Hoping its not the diff!

Cheers

Dodsy

let me know when you find out what it is. i have the same problem. have stripped and cleaned the brakes, but it's still there. is now turning into a bit of a whine. really p'in me off now  :( :(
