THanks for that although it turns out the problem isn't there
. It appears that pin 8 isn't connected to the wire in the sat nav display unit plug. Which brings me to supplementary questions. Is it possible to dismantle these plugs (it's a white 12 way plug with a swing-over clamp) or does anyone have that bit of the sat nav loom? Only need the plug and couple of inches of wire to splice in. All the other connectiions are fine.

Plug and play. 2nd hardest job finding the connector. Hardest job finding space for Nokia box behind glovebox. Pretty full behind there
. Good to see the Haynes Book of Ltes is on form. "Remove the four screws and take out the glovebox." Oh yea! What about the fith one Mr Haynes? The one that requires the removal of the passenger vent? Good grief! Ah well at least I know whats in there!
