I have an intermittent misfire problem on my 3.2 V6 when I apply power at low revs e.g going up a steep hill. Above 3500 rpm the EML flashes and two cylinders cut out (3 & 5 according to the fault codes). Restart engine, then no problem. Have had coils and plugs changed, no oil etc in plug wells. Could this be a cat or sensor problem? Any other ideas?

Thanks, Proz - that fits. The alarm goes off at random, and my garage told me that that was the alarm siren battery low. Have one on order, so should sort out both problems.

My 3.2 Elite occasionally "beeps" 4 times when I turn the engine off. Can anybody tell me what this means?
