Omega General Help / mainfold and spark plug question
« on: 13 September 2010, 01:19:13 »
Hi

Having probs with my 2.2 petrol omega

firstly 2 spark plugs have somehow shot out of the head losing the thread in the head, can the head be helicoiled without taking it off?

also im looking for a manifold, found a 2 litre manifold (the gaskets are the same for the 2 litre and 2.2 but is the manifold the same too?

any help would be greatly received as i really need to get it back on the road for work

Omega General Help / prop shaft centre bearing advice
« on: 16 July 2010, 13:40:38 »
Ive got a problem with my 2.2 manual sometimes juddering when pulling away (hopefully its not the clutch as ive had it replaced recently i had this problem before it was done)
i think its caused by the prop shaft seal split making the bearing dry.

if it is the centre prop shaft bearing would i just need to replace the seal and gaiter and regrease using a grease gun?
its been like this for a while now and now i have a new clutch and i dont want to put extra wear on it!

any help would be great

Paul

Omega General Help / Prop shaft centre bearing question
« on: 08 April 2010, 16:21:59 »
I need to replace the centre bearing before it breaks completely

is the 2.2 diesel prop shaft the same length/size as the 2.2 petrol, also is it recommended to replace the whole prop inc bearing or just the bearing alone

any help would be great :)

the aircon acts as the demister too

when my windows steam up i just turn it on for 20secs and it clears straight away - this is with the aircon need gassing

doubt its the matrix, just one of theses things

i get 200 miles to 45 litres of lpg (£23)

the on board computer always reads between 18.5-20.5 with 75% of the time city driving

im sure its using petrol along with lpg any reason for this? i hate filling up with petrol ugh
