Omega General Help / 3.2 rear brake disc removal (or not)
« on: 01 April 2011, 14:38:44 »
Tried to change the rear discs on my 3.2 this morning.
Jack up car, remove wheel, brake caliper and disc retaining stud.
Tried to remove disc with no luck, would not budge even when battered with a hammer.
Is there an easy way or a knack to doing this.
It is the original disc so has been on almost 9 years.

Prefer the look of the thicker enclosed arms, would like a change from the skinny steel omega arm.

Omega General Help / Omega estate rear wiper arm and blade
« on: 28 March 2011, 19:06:05 »
Hi All
Does anyone know if any othe vehicle rear wiper arm and blade will fit my omega estate.
My original arm is very rusty now and I like the look of the Astra/ Signum rear arm assembly but I tried one from a Signum and it is too big for the omega spline.
Cheers

Don't think it was upgraded as the one owner before me was a funeral company and I got the service records when I purchased it in June 2004. It was first reg in Sept 02.
I have a 2003 Omega sales catalogue and it does not mention the 5 speed box as being available?

Can anyone tell me if the 5 speed auto gearbox in my 2002 Omega 3.2 Elite Estate was an optional extra as most seem to have 4 speed auto boxes. I did find something on the www which said GM reversed the decission not to fit the 5 speed back in year 2000
