have a white mig in glacier white
had some aeosol cans of glacier white in the garage for 3-4 years sprayed the grill and it looks very creamy rather than white

Do vauxhall have diffrent colors then Opel? cant remember any white opels with the colorname glacier, only white Ive seen for those are Casablanca ( CC 474) and I have seen alot of opels  ;D
Just curios :)

I think they are the same. My Opel is Galcier white and I usually buy my paint from Vauxhall when I'm in the UK.

yes they are the same, i forgot that i could just check our paint suppliers homepage to find out.

Omega General Help / Re: Auto box playing up sometimes
« on: 03 September 2009, 20:30:35 »
I think I have a similar problem, I have a Opel omega 2.2 auto -00

It "slips out of gear" when its about switch gear or is close to a gearchange. so i have to avoid staying close to these "switching zones" or i will have to manually put it in 3:rd to make it find the gears again which sometimes bumps so the gearbox jumps in to "safemode" (staying in highest gear at all times). giving a little extra gas at these zones seems to help slightly
Also accelerating hard until it should force a gearchange (high rpm) may cause it to loose gear, or may not change gear at all even if stay at high rpm

This can happen 10times in a halfhour drive, or once in a day.. but never 2 days in a row without a slip. It can happen in all gear switches, not restricted to any particular gear.

Oil, and filter has been changed, oillevel has been checked several times. I get 2 errorcodes, one listed as unknown and the other as "torque error" (use your imagination, i translated from swedish and im not sure if torque is the correct word  :-/ )

So, is there any help for my beloved car? or do i have to get a new gearbox? and if so, is it the same box as in the 2,5 V6 ECO TEC? Because if found one of those "cheap" with extremly low milage.

Greatful for all/any help and please keep the language simple if you can since im swedish and not great with cars (except painting them  ;D )

The ar35 is a uprated gearbox to take more power from the engine.
Do you need any more parts? or is just a simple swap between ar25 and ar35? btw dont worry, i wont be doing the actual work of changing gearbox myself  :)

so what you think. sell it for £50???
£50 sounds about right to me.You might struggle to shift it though as most people who are changing boxes will upgrade to an AR35 if they know what theyre doing.
Having said that ,I didnt because I needed a gearbox in a hurry and someone near to me was selling an AR25 so I had it off them.

Why? is it better? dont the car lose some strength with a ar35 if it normally have a ar25?
Maybe I should aim at a ar35 instead if it fits just as well as a 25? but then again I dont know what im doing  ;D

Omega General Help / Re: which gearbox?
« on: 05 September 2009, 21:33:11 »
yes that sounds to be the same problem as im having, that "feathering" is the worst you can do it seems. Also driving on slippery surface like polished ice seem to make it slip out of gear more often

you sound sure abou the AR25, good that was what i was hoping for   8-) since that gearbox only have 4000km on it or about 2500 miles (i think)
