I had the same problem on my 2002 2.5 DTI. The problem was with one wire which was disconnected. You must check your wires. Possibly you will receive error 00018 - comfort module/sunroof low voltage when you use "My Naff Code Reader". Try to locate this wire and fix it. It works for me.
What is "My Naff Code Reader"  ???
Last weekend we have checked the car with a code reader, nothing similar.

Fuses checked, all is ok!

 :-\
So, you checked the fuses, found a duff one & now all is OK or ............ checked fuses, all were OK & the windows still don't work off the fob/lock  :-\  :-\

So I have checked them and all were ok, hadn't need to change anyone of them.

and are your windows now closing via the fob?  :-\
No.  :-\

 Didn't even know about this....MFL
This is the function that I'm missing.

Buttons on the key :y

If the one touch feature works on the window switches, they should close with the key buttons :-\

Does the remote locking work?
Yes, its working, I can lock my car with it, but not possible to close the windows with it.  :'(
That is my problem. It could be some differences between my komfort modul and other moduls.
One of my friend Omega's has the same problem.

Sorry, what is fob?

Do the windows go up via the switch on their own ie press the switch, let go & the window carries on till it's closed or hits an obstruction? If yes, then I don't know, but if not, the windows need resetting by closing each window & then hold the witch till you hear a click in the door. This should restore the function by either fob or holding the key in the lock position till they're closed. If you have a sunroof, it should close that too.  :y

My bet is that this is the problem.  fazekasa are you certain the windows close all the way when you pull up the window switch briefly and let go?  Or do you have to hold the switch up all the time until they are closed (safe mode)? If so, simple fix as mentioned. The windows will not close remotely if they are in safe mode.

Is it possible to close windows with the window switch and let go. But not possible to close them from outside from the key.

Yes, its working, the windows is closing like this, but it is not working from key. And it is not working if I switch the key into the door lock from outside and hold it turn away as well.
All fuses intact?  :-\ Windows IIRC are powered from two supplies ..... I had a fuse ( duff cigar lighter  :-\) in my Senator go and the windows would operate with the door open, but not when closed
Good idea, I'm going to check the fuses.

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Is my 'comfort' modul working fine?
« on: 12 September 2013, 12:54:22 »
Hello Everyone,

I have a small problem with my Omega. This is my second one (made in 2000, Facelift), first was made in 1995. In the first one it was working the close the door windows with the keys. But in my facelift Omega this fuction doesn't work.
The module number in old one: 90 464 713
The module number in new one: 90 564 349
My question: is it posssible to change them in my car?
Or how can I solve this problem?

Thanks for the answers!

Normal message. It means don't programme the head unit while driving, basically. Or, to obey whatever the law is on programming sat navs in your country.

Eg, The responsible thing to do is pull over and stop, before programming.

I wonder if the language needs changing in settings though?
Thanks for info. I use it in English language, may be I can try it in German as well.

General Car Chat / Strange message

Hello,

in my Omega I have got NCDC 2015 with CID and Bose.
When I turn it on it sais:

"The driver bears responsibility for compliance with traffic rules and for safe operation of the unit"

Is that a problem/error message or just a warning?
