Yes it can be disconnected
all you need to do is lift plastic trim under bonet
drivers side with torx driver it is tight there are two connectors one of them is for the alarm have fun

Hi all my name is barney had 4 omegas before including Opel senator been into 4x4s but still missed my omega so went to norwich to buy 1 its the 2.5 v6 estate model there is an issue with engine hope to get to grips with this site so i can get some info about this

I might well be interested in some bits of this shortly, I've got the car in for the MOT next wednesday, hoping it passes without prob's obviously. if it does I'll be after a few bits, or maybe if it doesn't lol.

What are the doors and door bump strips like? has it got a black interior, dash etc, mainly the light switch I want with both front and rear foglight switches and warning bell, I think I read somewhere on here they don't all have the lights on warning? My offside rear door bumper strip needs replacing, usual corner piece gone, if they can be re-fitted?

will you sell the engine
