bearings are quiet,tappets slightly noisy but got no louder when being driven in fact after the initial rattle i topped the oil up and it got slightly quieter,do you know how much oil should be at the rockers,ie,just a film or pools of it?

yeah the air lock thing was clutching at straws,the oil light is constant

i changed the gasket because the sparkplug wells were full of oil and did a test run without topping the oil up untill the oil warning light came on,when i topped it up could i have created an air lock?

yes its the oil pressure light,i did use silicon but not much.the rocker cover is held on by 10 allen bolts and on the inside there is 10 o rings,the bolts go into the upper cam carriers so i wondered if the carriers were also oilways and if the bolts were over tightened would they block them off,what do you think?

did,nt do oil change,iv,e taken the rocker cover back off and started the motor up and theres a slight   spray of oil at the rockers but not much.do you know how much there should be?

hi guys,i just changed the rocker gasket on my 2ltr omega gls,went 5 miles and the oil warning light came on. can anyone please tell me if this is a new problem or did i do something wrong, the oil levels fine.cheers.
