the hazards lights do work better than the indicators but they also sometimes fail, but work when the windscreen wipers are on......

Omega General Help / Omega 96 Indicators dont work in cold

OK i admit i expect some things not work properly at -20 but this is really making me angry, some times the indictaors work and sometimes not, when the car is warm no problems, but anything below -5 and they stop working.
But after 5 km later they start working no problem. today they stopped completely. A small green light on the dash comes on then after a few tries mucking about with the indictors they work then stop.? any ideas on what the problem could be or what i can do to find out? oh they work better when the windscreen wipers are on,
other than that i love my Omega its a 2 litre 16v estate and i got from germany and i live in finland, and of course i red-lined it on the Autobahn 220km/h and still got taken over by a power deisel golf
