Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Heater fan / resistor
« on: 03 November 2009, 17:56:39 »
My heater fan broke down the other day. i have a A/C unit in my 2.0 Omega. According to the garage(the plugged theire diagnostic computer in) its either the resistor(expensive) or the fan(well expensive) that is broken.

What i would like to know.
1 : How do i controll which it is?
2 : How do i access fan / resistor.

Typical, it breaks now when it really starting to get cold :S

This thread interests me!

I have had the exact same problems since it started getting warmer(and more rain as well).

It starts good, runs fine until its hot, then it either just misses a beat and the engine light turns up on my dashboard. After that i cant restart it nicely, it will start after a couple of seconds turning, but the light will say lit(orange engine one).

I went to a garage, he changed the gaskets for the spark plugs, the gaskets for the plastic valve cam cover, changed spark plugs, oil+filter and air filter. No change :(

I am going tomorow to have it plugged in and get error codes(i have my doubts..) what do you guys think it could be? im poor and desperate lol >.<
