It's in the Haynes manual (one of the few Diesel related things that are)

I don't suppose you could pm me a scan? Car is outside and I cannot start it but will hopefully get a copy of Haynes if readily available from Halfords otherwise I suppose post and direct. Thanks for the info.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 2.5 BMW diesel engined Omega?  I am trying to find out the colour of the wire which runs to the ECU from the temperature sender in the hope of installing the resistor hot fix. Car is perfect in freezing weather and gets extra burst of fuel and starts on the button. Once it is hot it can only be a matter of time before the starter burns out. Any help appreciated.

I have an Omega with the BMW diesel engine and the usual hot start problem. My sparkie wired a resistor in following the advice on a Landrover P38 forum. I am wondering if someone has a wiring diagram for the Omega or can confirm the wiring colour of the wire which tells the ECU the car is hot?  Just want to double check?
