i suspect the shells were not put back in there correct position and or not tightened correctly either......?

thats my opinion anyway........

any thoughts on the valves been bent...?

sorry i do not have any pics of the camshaft

all is now sorted or at least i no what the problem is!!!

SNAPPED CAMSHAFT............................

Im trying to locate a second hand cam any ideas..?

Only question is what are the chances of it doing damage to the valves...?? as stated compression tests good cam shaft snapped on 1 & 2 cylinders exhaust side..?

your opinions / help would be appreciated...

no guys timing checked and chcked again and the crank sensor has been replaced prevoius to head gasket 2mths ago or less

Hi All 

I have a v plate omega 2.0 petrol AUTOMATIC just had headgasket done drove for around 100 miles came to some lights after travelling about 2 miles after fuelling up then just died. Turns over wont start up?

Now i no what your thinking and no i didnt put wong fuel in

The cylinders are getting fuel
The plugs are sparking
Compression test good only 10 psi difference on the cylinders max
Timing spot on
chip in the key is in there 
I have tried some easy start but no joy 

sounds like its on the verge of firing but just does not burst in to life

Also had a full service as well as crankshaft sensor maybe 2 mths ago also

your opinions and ideas are most welcome!!!!!

I do have one idea that might solve it but that involves £5 of petrol and a box of matches he he!!!!
