Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Cigarette Lighter
« on: 09 July 2010, 14:49:12 »
I have done a search and found a few problems regarding the front and rear cigarette lighters, but my problem is, only the front cigarette lighter doesn't work.  The rear works fine. I have checked the fuse anyway, and its fine. The front cigarette lighter has never been used, but still doesn't work. I only want to plug my iPhone charger into it, but as its mounted to my windscreen, the rear socket is to far away.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My old ncdc2013 the lens is shot for the satnav, and the cid is fine, just fancy a colour one The new ncdc2013 and MID i think are paired to each other and it came with the wiring loom, but i'm hoping i won't need it!

I have just bought a replacement NCDC2013 and the colour screen for the sat nav, as i bought both parts together, will they need pairing still, or can i just fit them straight into the car?

mine get lovely and warm, you can definately tell the difference between heated and just bum heat! I can't bear to turn mine over setting 2 as they get to warm. I would say yours aren't working, my drivers seat gets warm almost straight away, the passenger seat takes a couple of minutes. The back seats are almost instant too.

Not really worried about extra light, just want them took light the same colour as the dipped beam ie. not yellow. Anyone know if they are H7?

I have the HID headlights on my elite, but the side lights and full beam are still the yellow bulb. Does anyone know of a good replacement for these to get them to look ice white, the same as the dipped beam.

Personal opinion, but bose is by no means overhyped. My bose system in my elite is fantastic!

« on: 30 January 2010, 19:49:38 »
This is probably a dumb question, but can i ask, what does the reverse function do? I ask, because i have a heavily tinted rear screen, which i am considering removing in my elite, so obviously, at the mo, my mirror does nothing.

Its a genuine disk, without a scratch on it, so its almost cerntainly the laser. Can this be repaired by a normal radio repair shop?
