and yes it seems to drive ok in 3rd and i can then change into d when moving

All lights on the g/box selector are now lit up and when the car is in D it appears to be sluggish..... Any ideas?

i did see a small piece of plastic on the floor when i took the fuse pannel off and thought it had broken off the pannel. OOOOPPPs. I`m not sure if i flicked it out of the footwell and into the street or not (will check in the morning). What is that piece and do you know much.

I have a 3.0 Elite which is S reg and manuf. 1999 A couple of days ago, i took out the key only to discover the key was actually still in the ignition and the button fob was in my hand. I turned the key back and forth a few times to get the key out and then put the key and fob back together again. Now when i TRY to start the car it turns over but will not start. I have done the paper clip thing and the codes i get are

I have a 3.0 V6 Elite Auto with cruise control and full leather interior. Mot and tax just run out and as far as i am aware all it needs is a middle cat and the gearbox selector needs looking at. Good car otherwise with sat nav cd boot player built in phone etc. Make me an offer if it sounds of any intrest.
