i cleaned the breathers, and yes they were torqued to 8nm.

i got them from my local motor spares, he asked for full reg number so not sure if they were dealer part, however they said gm then a number which ended in 36 for 1 and 39 for the other 
? yes he used gasket sealer which cost me the earth, £9 !!!!!! before we changed them though, it was doing the exact same then, just the passenger side was full of oil !!!!

i have just had rocker cover gaskets changed, both sides, on my 2.5 v6, they have been done as per posting off here, however i`m still getting oil in the spark plug housing and a little on top of the rocker cover, it only does it on the passenger side as you look at engine. it`s beggining to arse me off because of the money thats been thrown at it 
. i had it done by my neighbour who is a mechanic and i do know he is very good. he has`nt missed anything. does anyone have any ideas to rescue my car, i may be forced to get rid if i can`t get any solutions . many thanks guys for reading.

hi everyone, is there any mechanics around the barnsley/sheffield area that wants to earn abit of extra candy ? i have a 2.5 v6, and the rocker cover gaskets have gone so need replacing, i have bought them along with gasket seal, i started stripping down last weekend and got as far as taking the rocker covers off. however on the left hand side of the engine, the fuel pipes look to be in the way and as i`m no mechanic i stopped what i was doing and left it. i did have a guy coming out 2day but he rang and said he was`nt able to make it. i don`t want to carry on doing it myself as i`m not too sure and don`t want to break anything, besides i don`t have the correct tools. so if anyone fancies finishing off please reply and let me know the cost.

right..... av had a look and can`t seem to find out wot the problem is i took the grill off, carefully pulled up the pump/motor and then grazed my hands in the process !!! so after much effin and jeffin i put everything back where it belongs and thought f*&k it. as u can tell i`m not mechanicaly minded. but thanks for all ur help anyway, looks like goin to a garage to av it put right.

nice 1 thanks chris, i can`t hear any buzzing so to narrow it down it must be wiring or fuse. i will re-check the fuses and take it from there.

hi there could anyone tell me how to fix my jets when i pull the stalk towards me to wash the screen nothing comes from the jets. i have checked screen wash and yes it`s full. has anyone any suggestions many thanks

there must av been some seats in there at some point !!!!! but the kid i got car off says he got it without the seats. not sure whether to keep looking or just leave it now if it`s that hard to get them.

they look like universal seatbelts that have just been bolted in, they don`t look messy, properly installed and wot not but just can`t source any.
