Now if your all sure you dont want a free holiday, the weather is lovely today. Its about 24 deg and clear blue skys. The beers not bad either. Pitty I'm stuck in the office.

Is Autodata a website where I can find this information?

Thanks all

I would love someone to come and help me do it rather then taking it to my dealer. Does anyboby fancy a few days holiday in Austria. I've got a spare bed and I will feed you.

Just a quick question guys.
I'm taking my 3.2 to the local Opel dealer for a Timing Belt and water pump change. Does any body know how many hours this should take? Just need a reference point so I know they are not stinging me. I have got my kit and water pump from Autovaux so it should just be labour.

Thanks all

If it was because of polish or something else would it not effect both blades?

I dont use polish but it may get something on from the car wash. They dont like you to wash your cars at home in Austria. Something about contaminating the ground water with soapy diposites and oil. They prefer you to go to a car wash.

Oh and that is 130 kph. Whats that about 80 mph. Mine goes like stink. Had it up to 200 kph once but to much traffic and stupid bends. Should do 249 kph I think!  :y

OK guys, I changed the blades.... Still a judder on the drives side blade. I removed the arms and the scuttle and associated trim parts and seals. Examined the area for any obvious defects. Found a loose screw on one of the rods... No nut attached. I replaced the plastic screw nut thing and bolted it all back together. Refitted the arms.... still a judder on the drives blade.... >:( They work better but still a judder... any other ideas appart from falking out for a new expensive wiper motor?

Thanks

Just wanted to say Hi.
I have seen the forum several times on the net but only just registred.
I currently I have 2 Omegas and prior to that a Carlton. I'm British but moved to Austria about 2 years ago to live and work, so my current car is an Opel Omega 3.2 Executive. Getting to the stage now that I'm starting to spend out on my 3.2 and will be looking for help and advice to save myself some money. Example: Took it to the Opel dealer with a suspected oil leak. They could'nt find anything seriously wrong but said there was a small leak from the camshaft seal, oh and whilst we do that they would change the timing belt for me. I said how much. They said 700 Euro. I said your having a laugh. How much are the parts. He said about 350 Euro's. I said I'd by them myself and only pay the labour. I know its a big job but I know I can buy a timing kit fir about 70 GBP. Why do dealer insist in trying to rip you on parts.  >:( Anyway, here I am so hello everybody.
