i live in bicester oxfordshire. the eml light has not come on and i dont have the equipment to read if there is anycode stored. what is the sia system? is it something to do with the egr or the cat pre heating system?

hi all, i am a new member looking for help with my mv6 3.0 elite. driving to work earlier this week the exhaust suddenly seemed to get louder with a massive power loss and what i can only explain as a missfire. a garage told me that it was a collapsed silencer so i took both the pipes off from behind the cats and started it up. problem still there. i put and endoscope up behind the cats and they both look fine. no engine management light so i dont know where to start. any help would be very appreciated.
