other things i did was separate sections with a faint grey line below the title so top i have my first name in bold then my surname, to the right, key details, mobile phone, e-mail, drivers licence.

before you describe your job, say where, then, what, who

couple of simple rules, 2 pages only, people don't want to be reading a small book.

Key information up top, things like driving license, UK passport holder, full name, then start with your latest job.

Also little tip, name your cv "you_name_CV.doc" when someone interviewing has 100 "my_cv.doc" in their documents, yours will stand out more.
