I sold my mig yesterday after 6yrs ownership, (the longest time I have ever owne'd a car), I have bought a Rover 75 1.8t top of the range model that I could not refuse, with 93.000 & most of the s/history, it's superb to drive & very fast for a 1.8t. I must thank all you members who have given a lot of help keeping my mig in good nick. I wish you all the best. Big Mel.
Hi Jason. I have owned a total of 16 jags. xk120 roadster (3) ss100. 1. mk5, 2.5 &3.5l. (2) 3mk7s. 1mk 10. 1daimler double6. 3xj6s &2 types 2.8 &v12. I did all the work on them myself and I never many problems, su fuel pumps in the early ones were a bit iffy till they put the the fuel pumps in the tanks. plenty of oil & filter changes, & general maintenance &you wont have much trouble. there is a m reg 3.4 jag sport at M&S cars with service history that looks tidy. Mel.
I'd like to say yes, but the policeman of to-day have to watch evey move they make it must be very frustrating for them, they are not allowed to do the job properly chances they get nancy boys in westminster who dont live the world we have live in saying they are to hard on the crims. when i was a lad you had respect for the police, so i reluctantly say no.
I'd like to get my hands on him, I'd make the bastard suffer just a big coward. I feel for the 2 pc's family, I hope they send him down for the rest of his life
My mate had a vauxhall viscount it was the same colour as the one in the program a great car, I had the later version of the rover coupe with the v8 and chrome wheels. brought back some good memories.
I think i might just scrape through, after spending 44yrs driving hgv's but you are learning all the time, does anyone remember a program on tv called Highway Patrol? the program allways ended with the star of the show saying, be as good a driver as you think you are. good advice i think.
