Omega General Help / Re: Help - oil leak

Thanks, I suppose there's nothing else to do but it could well be a case of resorting to the black goo as both mating surfaces are clean and undamaged and I've used a brand new vx gasket.  :)

Removed crankcase breather pipe today on my 2.2 CD to clean. Cleaned out ok and refitted with new gasket but now after the engine has been run it looks like like the BP oil disaster - oil leaking from where pipe joins crankase. Simple job!!!! what can go wrong??? anybody got any suggestions.

ps I suppose that it all depends on what you want from the holiday but you can usually do it independently much cheaper than Eurockeycamp etc

Take the car to the south of France most years (going again this summer). If you decide to go to the Cote d'Azur and need any info let me know. Best/cheapest ferry crossing is Norfolfk Line (this year £49 return for mig and 4 people) - this may not be best route if you are going to the west coast.

If you haven't already been there try the handtec website
http://www.handtec.co.uk/    they have some well priced repackaged items with good guarantees, also a good source of satnav info.
