if the cam sensor was faulty i thought it would not start at all if i crank it over enough it will eventually start and as long as i keep revs on it it runs but a bit rough will idle after awhile but the light staying on

it will start if the cam sensor is faulty as the crank sensor will let start, and vise versa

Is your model an Elite by any chance?
I had the same issue with an '02' Elite. The intermittent cycle counts as 'auto' for the auto wipers, and until sorted the wipers appeared to have a mind of their own.

no fella its just a gls ,model

I need some more space in my garage so I'm selling my Vauxhall Facelift MV6 alloys They are the 5 spoke flat bladed type are year 01/ ET98 17"rims and 71/2J.Made in Germany.I had them refurbished by the wheel specialists and they are still in excellent unmarked condition,2 of the wheels have Michelin Primacy HP tyres 235 45 17 with several thousand miles in them the other 2 are not legal and need replaceing.I'll accept £300,not bad considering they cost £250 to refurb, but take note I'm in Leeds a fair distance away from most members.Would be happy to do a meet at a near motorway service area just PM me if your interested.

Hi, are they the same as these I've seen on ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270605543038&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I take it they're a straight (no pun intended) replacement for my wobbly & buckled Irmschers.

Cheers, Paul

there elite wheels, tjhe mv6 ones are abit different then those.
