if the cam sensor was faulty i thought it would not start at all if i crank it over enough it will eventually start and as long as i keep revs on it it runs but a bit rough will idle after awhile but the light staying on
Is your model an Elite by any chance?
I had the same issue with an '02' Elite. The intermittent cycle counts as 'auto' for the auto wipers, and until sorted the wipers appeared to have a mind of their own.
It could just be a faulty switch, needs further investigation though.
