Omega Electrical and Audio Help / CCR2006 disc unit kaputski
« on: 09 April 2010, 19:15:21 »
Like I posted on the 2nd of March my CCR 2006 disc player has given up the ghost. I read the article describing how to change the disc unit for another one  but can't find a compatible unit. SO! If anyone out in 'megaland has one gathering dust in a garage I'd appreciate the long-term loan of it. For a small consideration of course. :y

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Audio model number
« on: 24 March 2010, 20:54:31 »
Hi Dave. sorry about forgetting model number. It's a CCR 2006 three in one radio/tape/cd unit and I think the cd unit has given up the ghost. No! I know it's given up the ghost. So to reiterate my earlier request, is there anyone in 'megaland' with a cheap one for sale? I've been quoted £98 from a vaux breaker but If it arrives and ain't no good then Ive got the bother of sending it back plus a handling charge. :y

Hi everyone. I'm a new member from today and was prompted to join due to a problem with my 3 in 1 audio unit. That's the radio/tape/cd lump in my v6 2.5 cdx, (2001). I couldn't find help anywhere relating to the fact that my cd player has given up the ghost. Can it be fixed or do I have to replace the complete unit when the other two mediums are ok?? If I have to replace the whole gubbins is there anyone out there in 'megaland with one to sell??

Omega General Help / Handbrake adjustment
« on: 09 April 2010, 18:55:35 »
I've just fitted new anchors to my 2001 V6. They work fine when I want to stop but the handbrake travels too far and it doesn't hold on an incline. Is there an adjustment I have to make to the cable, and if so, how do I do it? :-/
