Yeah I think i will have a pop down. Thanks for that. I wasn't too sure how much it would cost.

Yeah i'm not too sure on induction kits on n/a engines. (both my other cars are turbo'd) It seems to be better with the original airbox back on. As long as a reset isnt needed for the airbox change i'll leave it as is then. Thanks for that.

Hi guys. Thanks for the replies.
I've just got the car and it was fitted with an induction kit. This has now been replaced with the original airbox and I was told it was best to reset the ecu once this was done. I'm not sure on that tbh but I thought id give it a go, if it's needed.
I didnt know that resetting the ecu didnt clear the fault codes either (I'm used to fast jap cars!) so that was a handy bit of info.
Oh and I'm in Shrewsbury btw.

Hi everyone. Just a little question. Is it possible to reset the ecu without disconnecting the battery as I dont want to loose my radio code? I have a 2001 CDX 2.6 v6. Thanks.
