mij in walsall will be able to knock you up an exhaust sytem i would have thought and personaly i wouldn't have a re-map untill the exhaust is done...

they could also poss be able to re-map the car for you there

imo tint's are a must if you have kid's as they reduce uv ray's getting into the car, it also helps if the windows were broken by holding the glass in place...

i have always had my window's tinted on every car i have owned, and the miggy i have now i did myself, black on black look's coooooool  :)

Omega General Help / Re: K&N Filter
« on: 22 July 2010, 08:32:03 »
im my experience a panel filter is the best option to go for unless you have a heat sheild and a direct cold air feed, a fully enclosed kit like a viper is very expensive, imho i would go for either pipercross - itg -k&n or a genuine vx paper one and modd the airbox

both "My Naff Code Reader" and tech 2 have come up with throtle possition sensor low voltage, i have checked all earth's in the engine bay and they all seem ok to me..

will check the brake pedal switch and also the maf sensor

i forgot to say it's a manual and the car with spanner light is oin the dash and it wont rev over 4.5k rev's..

thaks so far for the advice..finger's crossed i can get it sorted out soon

Omega General Help / need help please....

i brought my car with a few minor fault's (only expected as it's done 213k miles) but the one that is doing my head in is the throttle possition sensor low voltage fault i cant seem to get around....the car is a facelift W reg 2.2 estate with lpg and i have replaced the following

throttle pedal
throttle body
cleaned out all breather's and fitted the breather box on the back of the rocker cover

i have also changed the ECU in the fuse box with a new key and black box under the steering column but the car then refused to start...

i have been informed that the lpg kit is fitted and a wire is conected to the throttle possition sensor somewhere but i dare not start looking into the wireing as there are load's in there.....

i am really wanting i suppose is someone who know's about lpg kit's and can point me in the right kind of direction to get it fixed without a mega expense

thanks in advance

Rich

Newbie Welcome Area / hello all
« on: 16 April 2010, 20:30:50 »
hello all, my name is Rich and i am looking at buying a miggy estate for work, the one i have my eye on is a metalic green 2.5 V6 cd estate on an X-plate, clock's say 160k but it has less on it as last service paper say's 105k, had a cam belt aircon rad and load's of work on it over the last year and has a good bit of history, only worry is the fuel consumption of it....it wont be doing a lot of milage (last work car has done 17K in 2 1/2 year's) but i am after avv fuel figure's if you please...
also is there anything i need to look out for ??

thaks

Rich
