oh well found fault today none of the above was start of head gasget going took  sarted fine this morn took for a sharp run   then light cam on and stated missing  even will driving got back was mores steam coming out of exust that a traction engine  tured of  read fault code pulled number 4 plug wich was soacking wet and you could see watter in cylinder turned over with plug out and was like a gezzer so  now its wether to pull apart and soo whats  going on or scrap yard as im llooking at £200 to dowith a service and belt will im about it shame really just put 4 new tyres on and a back box but hadd 11 year fathfull use

was wondering if cam censor could be anuy thin to do with it  but funny had them codes as well when mass air flow was playing up   
 but its the lumpy runing  i stated it from cold erlier was as lumpy as any thing  turned of and re started as smooth as ever  againe
as saidiv clean the plugs and hols  from gunge andoil build up  and still doing it i think so would coil pack cuse lumpy tickover but seem to rev and drive ok  or could cam censor play in to it as was so long ago i did it  all i can rember was it would go in to limp home mode every time you statred

just seeing if any one else can help  my miggy start fine runs smooth then once  warmed up idel is bad as if missing have had error codes as below
eng read with genidan vux check
p 1700 multiple  transmision modual / tcm  service and tcm  mil
p0304 cylinder 4  missfire
trans
p1781  can bus ecm acutal torque signal
the p1700/1781 come up more than ther misfire code but  they tend to come up wiht lots of other codes 

have clered them down and have rturned later but only onece driven a way and warmed up
have also noticed runing warmer when left tidlling and has started to run lumpy
drives o stil well seem to
have puled out all plugs cleaned them as well as gunge from holes inspected  boots on  coil pack seem ok
swaped plugs around justy in case bad plug as no spare at hand at mo
throttel body vacume pipe  the small one is clear  and boddy it not to dirty
now as this only seem to happen when war i suspect coil pack  but was wondering if any one else could add to it

i had smae sort of problem on my vecy flat bettry one moring gave it a jump and all seemed ok ni light on dash and was runing ok so left to run for a time the shut of when out  latter and away she went only to stop a bit later but just befor i did red light cam on giving game away and aa man tried telling me alternator was gone as well as battery  so go recon as local scarppys wanted 70 not for second hand and i got recon for 990 with disco nuts and batteys been ok and to prov a point not used vecy in week onlky to go out other day hit key and away she went
so much for aa battery teaster or is that a digital mulimter nothing like a good old battery load toaster

id love to find out what the pin out if of the plug so i could see if i can find somthoing from a difrent alarm or sab ect to do the job as ife was gutted and not paying what they are arsking for second hand one let alone new for that money
not only was the power sounder dead but so was  alrms normal sounder jus rpelced that with a 12 volt siren so now i now it wife alarm

can some say what is difrence in omega b  headlight
on the later face lift cars as wifes has clear lenses ok sort of clear  with xeno bulbs  so was wundering if pre 99 light would fit and 01 car as from  the front they look same and i may need to replace on as the adjuster has broken but going to try epoxy to  glue it first if tha faile then new light

the hole in top of fuse is so you can see if blow and that depend on if it has blow the right way as some only go at one end and may not notice
you should not have inition on ever as can cause other problems as well best pull fuses look at them and see if ther is a break in them and replace as neede
and as for ones working or not system will only put power on them when need  like likte when light are on  and same for any thing like that

well problem solved  the horn is dead and so it power sound infact power sound in beyond ther grave as the 2 large buton celles have leaked and coroded the pcb beyond repair
so of to get a power sounder and have replced horn with a house alarm 130db sounder that's like an old pa horn nice and lound and can tell its wifes going of now

im using a gendan eobd with vauxcheck software on my lap top
pluge in to day to find code for maf and bank 0 presure so will keep eye out for these agine

never have seen the light flashing for no reason
may be a faul in the alrm that ic does not see  if ther a realy ther triger horn or a power transitor blow so will take look under bonet at horn and sound first and got from there

ok it sound stupid but my wife omge alarm flashes the indicators but no sound
now what is the dealy befor full arming in case its that and also apart from power sound  is ther any other item that can cause alarm to play up
as i say it does not go off if you lock door and the lean  in window after or hold bonnet switch down and realse short time after arming but may not be wating long

ther is a nother reason as well ifyou look in to latest revision of higway code as well  buggers are chanig it all time now days

me iv come up with a cheper way of heating car in the cold and no scraping ice of windows ever
as car is on drive not far from doos i run an extesion lead in to car and a low wattage fan heater on a timer so when im going to work at 4 am car is all warm and ready just rool lead up and put on floor and of i go and electric is a lot chepaer than petrol now day

other this it starts from cold ok it's when it been rund and  and you come back and its luke warm the prob apears
 is there any thing other than maf
that could be problem i think its maf as well but dont what to spend £114 on one from vx and not cure problem
not bad price considering the doggy vauxworld plce whants 111 for suposed original part that had  nuber ground of  for some reason at leat for a few qwid more geting genuine warranty

ok now and then im geting emision light up with code p01070
fuel trim bank 1

now when cold  fist start of day start runs well
wehn i go back to car 2 hours later starts ok runs a bit lumpy then tickover drops and nerly stalls if i hold rev up to abot 1500 or above for short time all well and drives ok
but some time fells a littel lump but no faul codes
and only doing 19 to gal but doing lots of short runs probaly not helping

light normally come on at stsrt up if it going to happen at all
any ideas
