Omega General Help / Re: klunking in the steering or suspension

check the steering drop link arm as its to the left of the bulk head it will move inwards and knock against the bukhead when turning right on turning left it moves away slightly so no knock

i had excatly the same problem on a 2.5 td  the fuse will keep blowing
now the problem with mine was as follows when the fuse blew everything you say went in mine plus the dash lights didnt work when the headlight was on
but if i switched of with the headlights on the the car would still run until i turned of the headlights then the car would stop also you couldnt start it with the headlights on
it was all down to the wires under the dashboard between the ignition and fusebox and back out to the heated seats/fan etc so check all the wires there incase one has chaffed against something which was the case with mine

ok ill give a bm dealer a shot was quoted 424 quid from vauxhall
so its worth a go and you have to buy the whole lot not just the bit you want but they will sell the middle bit which never fails????
