Not sure i think if u have motion sensors in your car then if someone is inside and its armed then it will go off.

Sounds like electrical interference? maybe the aerial coming ou the back of the stereo is too close to a power cable?

I dunno if anyone has tried it, but if you pull out the volume control button and turn it either way it puts sound to left and right speakers! i never knew it did that as theres a seperate button for that function.

looks like it, there the same shape as ones i bought not long ago.
I wouldnt buy them that cheap tho, you get what you pay for remember and brakes are something you shouldnt really scrimp on.

There are blanking kits around or you can make one up urself. The egr isnt a part of the test, just emissions.
one point worth mentioning though is if u do do it, keep the plug connected otherwise u will get the engine management light on.

Tried and tested on a 2.5 V6 vectra with no problems in running or mot.

Thats the thing, it has had close inspection although the front pipe hasnt been actually removed from the car to be looked at properly.
He didnt use any paste, i did suggest it to him but he said you shouldnt need any.

Nope no EML at all, and the cat is fairly new. It isnt an O.E exhaust though so will sound different but this is blowing somewhere. Sounds like it is somewhere from the cat to the manifold but no obvious signs apart from noise whilst driving and when cold etc

Also dont know if it makes a difference but the revs sometimes stick at 1100 rpm ish' when idling. And other times normally its around 700
