My cam belt had done 70k and was over 5 years old when it was changed but it not worth the risk, its £200+ well spent.  :-[

It's worth noting that although Insurance companies say that a winscreen repair/replacement will not affect your ncb's, a note is made on your record that you have claimed. More Than show this as a claim on your proof of no claims bouns when you re new.

Must be that new Shell "Fuel saver Fuel" I filled up with. Save 1 ltr in every 50ltrs?

Has always been good on a run and my granddad driving at 70 mph, its round town or in traffic that it goes down to the mid to low 20s.

I did try to get local help unfortunately it didn't work out.

I had a job to look at in Liverpool and combined the 2.

Drove up with my fingers crossed cam belt last changed 5years and 70k ago, having said that it didn't look to bad, tensioners still seamed ok I wont leave it that long again.

Pete was great very entertaining and done a good job.

Lovely Job Pete,

Cam Belt, Water Pump, Aux Belt, Breathers Cleaned & Oil/filter Change.

Replacing the Vac pipe to the rams, chewed by rats has made a difference.

The old omega managed 36.8mpg over a 460 mile round trip.
