Omega General Help / pulls to the left
« on: 07 August 2010, 21:14:27 »
hi can anybody give me an idea as to what may be wrong with my omega
It pulls to the let quite quickly if yo take your hand off the steering wheel
The tyre pressure is ok and all tyres have been balanced and was told by budget that the tracking was spot on,
The steering wheel is cocked an inch left from the 12 o clock position and there seems to be a clunk to  the front left wheel when you his a nasty lump or bump in the road
It drives very well at high speeds with no wobble or vibration,,,,,,,,,,,,, any ideas
thanks chaps

I have just got a second hand pair of headlights of a 97 cdx saloon to fit onto my n reg 96 tourer estate,as i want to change from the ribbed type to clear lens and for the life of me i cant see a way that they will fit ,i dont mean the shape ,its the wiring its totally different.is it me, are there any pictures on the forum that can help .the new lights have ballast thingies on them and there isnt a connection on the tourers old headlights that fits .Hope this makes sense.

Cheers Varche that link was superb ,am i right in thinking that if the inner light fitment wobbles  the adjusters are cabbaged and the only way to repair them is by removing the lens cover and replacing them with the aluminium ones ,does that make sense or am i being a helmet : :o :o

Roll down the drivers window fully, lean out of the window until your outstretched fingers can just touch the bottom of the door trim strip. Now the next bit is crucial...lower your head gently onto your right shoulder (keeping a firm grip on the wheel with your left hand) and gaze down at the ground. The extra weight of your eyeballs should now have brought the car onto an even keel :D Simples  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) :y
Ill try that ;D

Works every time!  ;D ;D ;D ;)

Thanks for taking it in the spirit it was intended :y :y :y :y

If you need to have a little extra lean to the right simply drive with the drivers side front and rear doors open.If this is not working you can also remove the passenger side front and rear doors for extra weight shift  ;D ;D ;D ;D
Knocked off a load of rendering today stuck the rubble sacks on the drivers side ....No more lean
