yeah it of my v6 its attached to the back of the cooling fan and the pipes of either side only have air in them cheers

i'm the manager at a garage and would fully agree complain all the way . The actual torque for omega wheel nuts is 110nm. But worth remembering is that just because they've been loosened and re tightened it may not be the end. It is possible that once overtightened the bolt and its mating face on the wheel could be damaged and therefore not refit correctly even if the torque wrench says so. Worth rechecking the torque after either 1week or 50 miles.

the 275 will be fine just check once fitted that the sidewall is as near straight as possible.not like some of these euro style vw that stretch the tyre width to meet the wheel. i dont think you will have any problem though. put up some pics when they are on the motor

like you said mate sounds like a burst pip or the seal on the back of the master cylinder has gone and the fluid will have gone into the servo. bear in mind that if you've lost all the fluid even after fixing and refilling the system it may have damaged the seals inside the master cylinder any way

if you have two sensors on the car then the one in front of the cat is an o2 sensor and the one after the cat is a lambda sensor they are different.

the mv8 with the chevy engine did go into production but never made it to the uk but wouldn't dropping any form of v8 in there make it very front heavy i would stick to the v6.

you need an angle gauge for that but they all should be lock nuts on there anyway.
as for tightening when the car is on the deck this is correct mine is lowered so i know the problem of getting underneath, if you've got two jacks use one to support the car and the other underneath the lower ball joint. you can the jack the bottom arm to a flat level and simulate the car being on a level ground.please make sure the rear wheels are chocked even if the handbrake is on

the flat spot is between 2.5k and 4.5k but only on hard acceleration i haven't had any work done yet.
they did clear the codes at the garage and none have returned yet

my 2.5 v6 has been suffering from quite a definite flat spot so i had a friend hook it up to his diagnostic.
it has flagged up a problem with the maf sensor so that's easy enough to cure but it also came up with
hall sensor switching on and off
engine pulse sensor switching on and off
all we can get off the diagnostic is that it is NOT a TPS or crank or cam or o2 sensor so eliminating these
has left me a bit stumped any ideas greatly received

just check the discs make sure there isn't a big corrosion lip on them.
on the back on the calliper there is a 13mm bolt on the top and again the bottom,if memory serves me right you only need to undo the bottom one and you can swing the calliper up. Check the sliders they are what the calliper bolts go into and free and as there name suggest slide easily. Before pushing the piston in the calliper back either take the top of the master cylinder or clamp the rubber flexi hose off and undo the bleed nipple on the calliper. This is just so when pushing the piston back the rush of brake fluid back up the pipe doesn't damage the seals in the master cylinder.
hope that's not all patronising some things are obvious to some and not others.
oh and remember to pump the brake pedal back out before you drive away

there is a fair gap between the outer and inner wing so it should just be a bumper and wing you might find the you need to straighten the bumper mounts a bit but the damage doesn't look to heavy and it takes alot to do the chassis in i know i did it with the help of a lamp post

hi all
i have been around vxon for a while but glad to come across a site that's dedicated. I run a local fast-fit garage were i live and drive my beloved omega 2.5 v6cdx. She has been modified subtly that being the engine ,suspension and the windows being tinted.
I hope this year to manipulate the Holden commodore vts front and rear bumpers onto her. don't see to much of an issue as they are based on the same chassis the problem is coming across these bumpers in the uk.
Any way that's enough of me rambling hope to speak to you all and be of any help i can
