Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Key remote help required

Currently, my central locking works as follows. Car will unlock using main key. Will only lock using spare key. Having to carry both keys around to unlock/lock car. I've tried replacing batteries and re-programming keys to no avail. Rubber covers seem ok and not worn. Any ideas,please? Thx.

Hi Everyone. New to site and knowledge of cars nil, so hoping to learn a lot from site. Must have the worlds unluckiest Omega, but it's still the best car I've had.
