Same result with the key, only thing to add is once I have got it locked I can lock and unlock as normal with the fob on a single press if I don’t start it up which sort of makes me think it's in the electrics somewhere, frustrated!

Hi, replaced both front door central locking solenoids due to lazy locking (done at the garage not by me) and now it takes six times pressing key fob when buttons go up and down before everything is locked, maybe ecu but hopefully not! Any suggestions as to how to sort it out - the missus is getting a bit frustrated which is not good! 03 Omage CDX estate. Only thoughts are a reset of central locking, at least it locks now but takes six presses on the fob. Appreciate any and all advice.

Cheers,
Geoff

Had another look, you're right. Think I'll give it a go.

Thanks alot, appreciate your help. I tried the pedal test a couple of times and got a constant flashing light but no codes, might mean there are no faults showing?

General question - if anyone knows a decent mechanic/someone who knows what they are doing in South Somerset I've got a job going. The actuator looks a bit tricky for me!

Cheers,
Geoff

Omega General Help / 2.6 engine - know what this plug is?
« on: 21 August 2010, 14:47:31 »
Hi

I'm hoping someone can tell me what this plug is (in the pic). I was going to change the crank sensor when I saw this plug had pulled away from it's housing and the internal wiring was broken. It's just above the crank sensor plug and behind the engine bracket for the passenger side coil pack.

It also might be the cause of the problem which is hard starting when engine is warm.

If anyone can tell me what this part is it would be a big help. I hope the photo shows, first attempt for me.

Cheers,
Geoff
